ABOUT THE COLLECTION

What is The Dalek collection?

The Dalek is a brand-new partwork collection from Hachette Partworks that gives you everything you need to construct a high-quality 1:2 scale model of the legendary Time War Dalek, complete with remote controlled movement, lights, sound and interchangeable weapons. The accompanying magazine will feature clear step-by-steps instructions plus fascinating articles on the history of Doctor Who.

What are the model’s specifications?

  • Scale: 1:2
  • Height: 80cm
  • Base: 60cm x 48cm x 11cm
  • Pieces: 700-800 approx.
  • Materials: Die-cast alloy, metal structure, ABS plastic for details

When will the collection be available?

The Dalek collection will be available from the 8th January 2025.

How many Kits are there in the collection?

There are currently 140 Kits planned.

How often is the collection published?

Monthly.

How much does each Kit cost?

  • Kit 1 comes at the special price of $9.99 & FREE S&H.
  • Kit 2 is FREE.
  • Kit 3 is FREE.
  • Kit 4 onwards is priced at $14.99 + $2.50 S&H.

SUBSCRIBING TO THE COLLECTION

How do I subscribe?

You can subscribe to The Dalek online here.

What payment methods are available?

Visa, Mastercard or PayPal.

When will payments for my subscription be taken?

Payments for you subscription are only taken once your order has been dispatched. Except for your 1st delivery when payment is taken immediately. Payments are taken every 4 weeks, and the date will depend upon when you take out your subscription.

Have you received my subscription request? - I have not had confirmation.

If you have subscribed online, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this email, please contact our Customer Service Team since there may have been a problem receiving your order, or an error with the email address used on your order form.

What are the subscription gifts and when will I receive them?

Your subscription gifts will be delivered throughout the duration of your subscription in separate packages, rather than all at once. In the event of any gift being out of stock, or due to any circumstance beyond the control of the publisher, it will be replaced by another of equal or greater value.

  • 1st delivery – you will receive your FREE KIT worth $14.99.
  • 2nd delivery – you will receive your FREE TARDIS keychain and your FREE Kit 3.
  • 4th delivery – you will receive your FREE toolkit.
  • 6th delivery – you will receive your FREE Dalek blueprint mug.

Can I get the free subscription gifts without subscribing?

MANAGING MY SUBSCRIPTION AND UPDATING MY DETAILS

What if I move house?

Please contact our Customer Service Team to let them know your new address and we will update your details accordingly. Please note you cannot change your delivery address for your subscription online.

What if my card is expired or my payment details changed? How can I update my details securely?

Please give us a call using the details on the contact section. Please make sure that you don’t share any of your payment or card information by email.

REPLACEMENTS, RETURNS AND CANCELLATION

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel at any time giving 28 days’ notice – please contact our Customer Service Team via telephone or email.

How do I return a Kit?

If you subscribe and decide for whatever reason not to keep a received Kit – please contact our Customer Service Team via WhatsApp, telephone or email.

I have not received all my Kits or gifts. How can you help?

We are sorry to hear that. If you have recently subscribed, please allow up to 28 days for the delivery of your first parcel. Our Customer Service Team can resolve this for you, please just get in touch using one of the methods in the contact section. If you email the team, please include your name and subscription number in the subject line.

Why have I received the wrong Kit(s)?

We will replace all your Kits with the correct copies. In order for us to arrange for a replacement, please contact our Customer Service Team via phone or email. If you email the team, please include your name and subscription reference in the subject line.

What should I do if I receive a damaged Kit?

We replace any damaged Kits free of charge. Just send us back your damaged Kit and contact our Customer Service Team.

No, this collection is available via subscription only.
